Posting for trip leader, Burt Martin
East Sandy Creek, March 2, 2024 Section: Van to Mays Mills Road Leader: Burt Martin (cross post with Allegheny Canoe Club) Cold water precautions advised! Meet at 10 AM at the bridge in Van on Rt. 322. Trip is between seven and eight miles. Water rating class I-II whitewater. Call first: Burt Martin 724-372-8895. Burt will know if there will be enough water for the trip on Thursday, 2/29 or Friday, 3/1. A rough correlation for enough water in East Sandy Creek is 3.5 feet on the Rouseville gage on Oil Creek. Water Levels
Hello,
I just talked to Burt. There is enough water right now (4.10) but it is dropping fast. If you are planning on coming call him Friday night for the final verdict. Thanks Dustin |

I Just hung up with Burt. Saturday paddle canceled. Sunday has been moved to French Creek. Cochranton to Utica. Meet at Cochranton at 10am
