Apparently old links aren't working either: http://www.trumbullcanoetrails.org/f...hread.php?t=27
In the sticky post JP had a link but it doesn't work. Could just be that the link is no longer available. Just an FYI for Dustin since he's working on the site this weekend. Thanks Dustin!

Default Ken test 2 7-7-17 8:55p

jpeg attachment size 1.99mb 2000x1336

Presque 1.99mb 2000x1336 100pc.jpg

Original photo was 4.61mb 4000x2672 Fails to download.
Looks like the 1.99mb size gets automatically down-sized to 60.6kb.

What is the Max allowable photo size that will work?

============================================
Adding an album now works. I was a bit confused with acceptable file sizes.
Original photo was 4.61mb 4000x2672. It fails to resize and download.
Lesser sizes 1.99mb, 1.32mb, 329kb, 89.1kb all work. Just an observation... Reguardless of what the file size is, once in the album they will all look the same as the lowest resolution.

Is there a set size photos need to be under?

That is an external link and it's not working on their website. Nothing to do with trumbullcanoetrails.org

Yes, there is a set size on the uploads of 2gb, I can change that. All photos get resized to save server space since it is limited. Let me look at that setting. I don't want to go too crazy with it or we will run out if room one day

Ok, Changed the max upload filesize to 14Mb for photos. I also changed the resize resolution a little bit. Can't go much more on this because of server space. How they look on your monitor may also depend on how you have your monitor resolution set. Uploading photos to an album should be better now.

Default Photo albums now work.

Dustin, thanks for your trouble. The albums work fine now.

The higher download size will allow us to download larger size photos and not mess with shrinking them down first. The photos I added were between 2-4mb and the site re-sized without problem.

Also the new 800 pixel size fills up the screen more so photos are larger to view.

Thanks again,

Ken

The larger image size is a big improvement for the website. Thanks very much, Dustin.

Nice pix of Presque Isle, Ken.
