Allegheny River,Kinzue Dam to Betts Park

WHEN:

Saturday Sept. 26, 11 a.m.

WHERE:

Allegheny River; Kinzua Dam to Betts Park

DIRECTIONS:

East on interstate 80

Exit at route 8 north

Follow rt. 8 to route 62 east

Follow route 62 to Warren

Follow route 6 around Warren

Turn left on Kinzua Rd. and follow this to the dam.

The launch is at the beginning of the parking lot.

We will paddle from Kinzua Dam to Betts Park. This is about an 8 mile trip. We will meet at the dam and then shuttle cars to the park. Bring a lunch and something to drink. For those who want to camp, we will be camping at buckaloons on Fri. and sat. nights Contact us before Fri. the 25Th. since we will be camping.

Thanks for the post. I plan to see you there. I'm not sure I'll make Friday yet, but definitely Saturday thru Sunday, and with a tent.
Anything you would suggest for me to add to the collection for Saturday evening's events?
I'm sorry this post is late, but I'm still puttering around the site and finding things. I just realized how to get the newsletters from it (and I'm supposedly computer literate).
