Drowning Behavior
TCT,
Some of you who have been lifeguards or had other water safety and rescue training are probably aware of drowning behavior. I was not, or at least I had not thought recently about what drowning behavior might look like. After all, we see drowning victims in a movie or TV show wildly flailing their arms and crying for help, right? Check out the two links below for some reality. Since we all like to spend time on or near the water, I thought this was useful information to share. http://mariovittone.com/2010/05/154/ http://www.uscg.mil/hq/cg5/cg534/On%...e/OSFall06.pdf (scrool to page 14) Last edited by JPTolson; 07-15-2010 at 09:34 PM. |
