Default Planning Meeting, Feb. 21st

There is a little change of plans for our planning meeting. I'm expecting a larger crowd for the meeting so I moved it to "Frankies" in Hubbard, same place as the dinner party last month. There is no charge to use the room and no minimum to spend. The club will provide some appetizers and you can order off the menu if you want. More in the newsletter coming out soon.
Again, this is on Sunday, Feburary 21st at 2 o'clock. Directions to Frankie's are on our map page.

I would like to lead a Little Beaver Creek trip again. That was fun last year.

Cool

Put me down for leading the Presque Isle trip. I promise not to get called out of town this year.

Would like to host a club event on the Grand, and probably be talked into a multi day camping trip on the Allegheny or Susquehanna Rivers or even hosting one.

see all at the meeting...

The newsletter is out now. If you didn't see it, I'm asking that everyone kick in a couple bucks for appetizers. We will pool club money and cash for snacks and coffee. If you can, let me know if you're coming, but we encourage you to show up. eartt16@aol.com

Great turnout for our meeting, 26 people I think. Everybody thought Frankie's was a good place for the meeting and owner gave us the coffee on the house. We pooled our money and got 10 flatbread pizzas and some other snacks for after the meeting. The meeting went well and we have a great schedule this year. 17 runs on a wide variety of local water. And the best part is that there are 15 different trip leaders!!! Schedule will be posted soon.
