French Creek
This sounds like another fun day. Been a while since I've pedaled any distance, but I'm game. Hopefully we'll be leaving bikes at the put-in and cars at the takeout.

French Creek
Tom and I are planning to attend. Tom is recovering from a back injury so not sure if he will participate or not. Looks to be a beautiful day and this is a section we have never done. We're packing a lunch and looking forward to seeing everyone. See ya in Cambridge Springs!
P.S. There is a Kwik Fill in Cambridge Springs if you need gas, restrooms, a drink or a sandwich. |

Great day on the water with great people!
Thank you to everyone who came out to French Creek today. I had a blast and I know my girls did too. Thanks to all the paddle companions who patiently paddled with each one of my 4 daughters in their own boats. Two of them today was their first solo paddle on moving water. I also hope you don’t all know every secret I have due to my “talkers”. Ha. GREAT DAY!

Many thanks goes to Dustin Noel for leading a great trip on a pretty day. It was our first river trip of the year, on a new section of French creek and it felt great to be on a river as a club.
We had 15 paddlers in 13 boats (10 kayaks & 3 Canoes) We had two members make the shuttle with there bikes. Stan won the boys division and Darla won the girls division!! Bob, Dustin, Steve and myself was lazy and car shuttled. Once on the water was very scenic and very remote. It is a completely different then the other section we normally do. It was great to see 2 of Dustin daughter make there first kayak trips in moving water. I can't remember names but I know the younger one is 7 and the other 9. Nice to see them start off at a young age. Total length of the paddle was 7.20 miles Thanks again Dustin Mike
