It was a simple plan, down the snowy bank and across some ice and into the creek. I wouldn't get my feet wet. What happen was down the snowy bank and through the ice, but instead of surfacing the front of my kayak got stuck under the ice, so the back end got mired in the mud under the snow on the bank and I am left suspendend. I didn't fall over because I can brace on the ice, but I can't beat on the ice cause I need the paddle to brace off the ice. So instead of looking cool I needed rescued. It ended well I stayed dry. Paul was able to use his kayak as an icebreaker and get me freed.
