Lake Wilhelm June 29th at 10 AM

Lake Wilhelm in Goddard State Park in NE Mercer Co. PA is a beautiful and senic area to paddle.

We will gather at 10 AM at the marina boat launch. Be sure to bring binoculars and cameras as wildlife and gorgous views abound.

Also that day is the Pioneer Frolic at Goddard State Park featuring pre 1840s encampments, music, and vendors. Admission and parking are free as a follow up after we get back.

Directions are I 80 to I79 north, Take I 79 north 2 exits to Exit 130 Sandy Lake-Greenville Route 358, Turn west and take Rt. 358 about 1/10 of a mile and bear right on Carpenters Corners Rd., Go to 1st Stop Sign and turn Right on Lake Wilhelm Rd., Follow Lake Wilhelm Rd. to the park, Marina entrance is on the right just before the causeway, Launch is straight back to the far end of the marina drive and down to the lake.

Hope to make your trip. I fish for largemouth bass from my kayak on Wilhelm, fun lake to paddle.

Just wanted to let everyone know we are still a go. Looks like weather will hold for our paddle.

Sounds like a great trip. Lake Wilhelm is so pretty! But, I'm still in N. MI. The weather here is great and I have been out on the lake most days. Have fun!

If Lake Wilhelm is not convenient for anyone, remember the club is meeting at the B&O Station in Youngstown for the trip from Girard dam to the B&O that was rained out on June 8th.
