Close call for the Grumman
The ice was building on everything on Thursday then the snow started to stick overnight. The electricity went out around 1 am. It was out for 8+ hours and the house got pretty cold. I stayed in bed til we got some daylight. When I looked out the kitchen window I thought the canoe was in trouble. A large limb had broken off the willow tree. Missed the canoe by a foot! It did hit the corner of the garage roof and mangled the gutter.

Protect that boat!
Better protect that Grumman if we open boaters have any hope of outnumbering the closed boaters on a club trip, Ed Rigby’s rules for counting canoes versus kayaks notwithstanding!
