Upper Grand River Review

The Grand River runs for 102 miles. Drains 712 Sq Miles (455,680 acres.

It seems though that I have always heard of the "upper" above the dam and "lower" below the Harpersfield dam put-in (which is river mile 30.8). A couple of miles above where the dam is and the river starts to run west, the geology makes a distinct change. The river changes from a mud/clay bottom to mostly rock.

fwiw... Blair Rd is River Mile 16.4. Beaty Landing RM 8.4

We paddled from about RM 52 to 32
