When- Sunday August 12th

Where- Emlenton Boat Lunch 507 River Ave, Emlenton, PA 16373

GPS 41.176363, -79.708356

Time- 10:30 Am at Emlenton Boat Lunch.

Allegheny Grill Reservations are at 12:30pm
Need to be on the water by 11:30am

Reservations are for 60. I will ask you to RSVP so I have a head count and mark it down who is coming.

text me at 330-766-3129 with name and how many, or email me at mfdanko99@yahoo.com or tctnewsletter@gmail.com.
I prefer texting the best. Thank you

This year we will all meet at the Emlenton Boat Launch, and unload. Once you have unloaded I will ask the drivers to head to Parker and wait for other drivers. Then shuttle back to the Put-in (I will have a map with directions from Emlenton to Parker)
I will be the last one to leave Emlenton and catch the last shuttle.

Need to be on the water by 11:30 as it is 3.5 miles down river to the Allegheny Grill. By river about an hour paddle.

After we eat we usually walk around town and check out the winery, chocolate store or get ice cream. We try to regroup and paddle down to the mouth of the Clarion River. Once at the confluence of the rivers we stop at the beach area and swim and jump off the bridge abutment. LOTS OF FUN!!!

Then we paddle the last mile and half to our vehicles.
Total Mileage is 7 very easy miles.

Makes for a super fun day for all skill levels!!!!

Mike Danko

What an excellent day on the Allegheny River. This trip is truly a TCT classic. We had a total of 43 paddlers in 39 boats.( 35 kayaks & 4 Canoes).

The shuttle went well and we where on the river by 11:30, and had a nice easy paddle to Foxburg as we made it exactly at 12:30 for our reservation at the Allegheny Grill.

Total of 36 eat at the Allegheny Grill while some paddled straight through or stopped at the pizza shop.

After launch we walked around Foxburg, stopped at the winery, Ice cream shop and relaxed. We gathered back up around three and headed down to the confluence of the Clarion river.

Just like paddles of the past we had water guns and many of us got squirted during the paddle.
At the swimming spot many of us relaxed and enjoyed an easy swim while some jumped of the bridge abutment.
After that we paddled down to Parker and called it a day. I made it back to my truck around 5.
A great day with the club, with some great friends.
Thank you to all who RSVP, made my job a lot easier
Mike Danko
