Default Mahoning Consortium

I got a call the other day from Rich Ellers, chairman of the Mahoning River Consortium. They are planning a promotion or awareness of the river on June 14th in conjuntion with National Get Outside Day. They would like to put on a 31 mile riverside picnic party, from Newton Falls to the Pa. line, with picnics and activities along the river in different spots and they would like our group to put on a canoe and kayak event somewhere along there. I told him that shouldn't be a problem and that I'd bring it up at the next meeting. If we go along with this, we could get some good press for our club as this would have to be promoted throughout the area. Mr. Ellers said he would try to make our Chilli Run.
