Midwest FreeStyle Symposium

The Midwest FreeStyle Symposium in Peninsula Ohio will be conducted on Sept. 16,17,18 2012. FreeStyle canoeing is a discipline which stresses precise boat handling and paddling skills, all of which are of use on everyday river/stream/lake paddling trips.

There are only three of these events each year, one in Fla, one in the Adirondacks, and this one. We are lucky to have one so close to us.

Classes will be offered in FreeStyle solo and tandem, along with numerous "special" classes on an assortment of topics. Full details and registration/fees info can be found at www.freestylecanoeing.com

Cannot be more highly recommended to any canoe paddler. You will be amazed at what a canoe can do, and with what new abilities and knowledge you come away with.
