Primitive River Camping in June
Clarion Primitive River Camping June 11&12
Do you want to have some fun? Come paddle and overnight primitive camp with us in the Allegheny National Forest. Paddlers will be responsible for their own food and gear. If you like, bring a snack that can be shared by all. You will need to email me. If you are going so we can reserve you a seat on the shuttle. See Family Float Video on their site! Shuttle fee – $30.00 equally divided by all Distance – Each day - 13 miles. I am planning to come. No Cheryl this trip. I am about 3 hours drive from Ridgway so will probably drive over Friday and stay at the livery campground.

Hummm, actually I'm at myself +2 individuals... but we are in need of a 3rd boat (kayak) in order to prevent having to rent one. Anyone going that might have an extra boat that can be borrowed by a very responsible young man ?

rain canopy ???
Are we all going to float down the river in a thunderstorm under a canopy? Maybe I'll just hang back and take pictures.
I might not get to Ridgway until 8-9 pm but really haven't given it much thought. Mostly my gear is in a pile on the livingroom floor. Hummm. I wonder how I got it into my boat before? I think there's a Subway in town and I will get a sandwhich to take for lunch. I may just eat breakfast there too unless there's some handy dinner close by. I'm not familiar with Ridgway. Ken |

FWIW... I am driving tan toyota camry with green/white kayak. I don't have a mobile phone. Probably leave home 4-5 pm. 3 hour drive + dinner.
