Shenango River Paddle

I will be leading the shenango river trip for Garrett.
I would like to keep Garrett & Patty Newton in our thoughts and prayers. Last Sunday they were in a motorcycle accident and far as I know still at St Joe's Hospital in Warren, OH with several broken bones that need surgery.

There is no exact address for the lunch, once on dam road look for the only road that takes you down to the river. Google Maps calls it Water Trail road while Bing doesn't. The GPS coordinates should get you there.

August 29th paddle Shenango river an nice easy paddle meet up at 11:00 Pymatuning dam put in. We will take out riverside park Greenville about 9 miles stop at halfway rd launch for lunch.

The water level at the PV Dam is 4.88 ft at 7:30 pm 8-28-21

The lowest I have paddled it was 4.04 with no portages, a couple of bums here and there. That was 6-17-16.

Looks like it will be a warm but nice paddle.

So sorry to hear about Garrett and Patty’s accident. We wish them well and hope for a speedy recovery.
We won’t be able to make this trip unfortunately due to another commitment.
