West Branch State Park has a paddling event coming up next weekend, Saturday, August 15.

"At West Branch Reservoir 10am-4pm.

This free event is a great opportunity for the whole family to test drive canoes and kayaks and learn how to stand-up paddleboard (SUP). Experts will also be available to share information about local paddling activities and resources."

This event will be held at the park marina, 8109 Cable Line Road, Ravenna, Ohio according to personnel in the park office.
