Lightning Bug BYOK Kayak
Friday, June 28 @ 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Bring your own kayaks (BYOK) and enjoy an evening on the water with our friends from Trumbull Canoe Trails. Hopefully lightning bugs will help light the way. Not for first-time kayakers. Participants must be at least 18 and sign a waiver. Weather dependent. Free, but please register by June 26th at Wick Recreation Area, call 330.740.7114 ext. 282.
We will meet at 8 pm at East Newport Boat Launch, located on the opposite side of the lake from the Boating Center. From Google Maps: 41°03'43.7"N 80°40'34.0"W
We do hope for lightning bugs, but don’t forget to bring your lights and glow sticks!

Depending were you are coming from find Shields Rd in Boardman, OH.
-Once on Shields Rd head toward Mill Creek Metro Park.
-Look for East Newport Drive.
-From the Corner of Shields and East Newport Dr.
-Follow East Newport Dr. 1.5 Miles North.
-The Launch will be on your left
