Grand River
Tomorrow Night after work I want to do the Grand if she can come down to 7 ft or so. Right know she is 8.5 above flood stage. If it drops Jess & I will run it.
I wouldn't make it there until 6pm. Would meet at hidden valley park. Mike Danko |

Mike, I would suggest that you approach this trip with caution and contact Rich Klasen. There is no one who knows more about the Grand River than he does. I am sure he would advise you on the safety of paddling the Grand at 7 ft.

The Grand River
Thanks Bob,
Saw the River when I got home from work, and the trees and other objects being washed down at a pretty scary rate. Big difference between 4 or even five feet and eight. The Grand falls fast, but would not paddle it myself over four and by Sunday that's where it should be. Call first and I'll give you an update (440) 228-3261. |

The Highest I have done the grand was 6.5ft on usgs gauge, but if you think it is still to rough I might hit Ashtabula River, I see it has droped back down to 3.76 and for white water that is a perfect level.
