kayaker from Geauga County

Greetings. I just found you today. I crossed the Mahoning and got curious about that river and came across your site. I enjoy kayaking the Upper Cuyahoga near my home as well as East Branch and LaDue reservoirs and others, but I'm always looking for new places to put in! Would love to join you on a trip soon. I also volunteer for Geauga Park District and assist on some of their canoe programs.

I'm also a relative newcomer to this group -- I was able to make one of the outings earlier this summer and had a nice time. Hope to make at least one more before we're frozen in! I would encourage you to keep an eye on their outings calendar, and come on out!

Glad you found us! Hope to see you on an outing soon. Pymatuning Creek on Oct 18th, Mogadore Lake in November and our famous ( to us anyway) Chilly Chilli run on the Mahoning river on December 6th. Check back for more info.
