Mahoning River from Youngstown to Lowellville

This Sunday July 27 we will meet at 9 30 am at the B and O parking lot in

downtown youngstown, drop your boat off and head to Lowellville. The

address for the take out is Set Construction 235 E. Water St. Besides a

possible portage around the Struthers Dam depending on water level it should

be a great ride, we did it today Gauge Height was 3.5 and it took three of us

3 hrs. With a large group I am guessing 4hrs, Their will be no trailer shuttle

around the struthers dam so if you think you can't make it up the hill an

around well maybe you should sit this one out, We added a set of steps in

Struthers to make it alot easier, plus Ed weed wack it all down really nice

now. Also rather than a lunch stop, bring liquids and snacks because we will

be eating on the move, why, because we have discovered a great place to

eat in Lowellville after the trip that is open on Sunday. Any questions let me
